Terms of Service
Rules for using TheStudyStack accounts, revision tools, and classroom features.
Last updated: 25 April 2026
About these terms
These terms explain how students and teachers may use TheStudyStack, an educational revision platform for accounts, classes, and study tools.
Using the service
- -You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure.
- -Students should only join classes, clans, or live sessions they are authorised to access.
- -Teachers are responsible for managing their classes, invite links, assignments, and student-facing content.
- -You must not misuse the service, attempt to access another account, disrupt the platform, scrape data, or upload unlawful or harmful content.
Educational content
TheStudyStack provides revision materials and tools, but it does not guarantee exam results. Content may contain mistakes or become out of date. Users should check important information against the relevant exam board specification and teacher guidance.
User content
Teachers and authorised users may create classes, assignments, questions, flashcards, and other learning materials. You must have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload or share through the service.
Accounts and deletion
You can delete your account from account settings. Deletion removes account-linked records from the application database where technically and legally possible. Some data may remain in backups or records that must be retained for legal, safety, or security reasons.
Availability
TheStudyStack aims to be reliable, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, errors, third-party outages, or changes to the service.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, TheStudyStack is not liable for indirect losses, lost marks, lost profits, lost data, or losses caused by unavailable or inaccurate content. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Those pages explain what data is collected, why it is used, and how users can exercise privacy rights.
Contact
Legal or account questions can currently be raised through the account owner, teacher, or school contact that invited you to TheStudyStack. A dedicated public contact should be added before a wider public launch.
